Our co-founders met at film school, frisbee in one hand, beer in the other. Their production company, JonesMillbank, was founded in 2011, producing TV commercials, music videos and online content
Our evolution was opening Nine Tree Studios in 2023.
Today we're a team of 13, some solely on production, some on the studio, and some across both.

why nine trees?
Just over 100 years ago, our site in Brislington was home to a small copse of roughly nine trees surrounded by allotments.
An idyllic spot that looked out over Bristol's thriving port, railway station, and the nearby Butter Factory and Brick Works.
Now, surrounded by the city, we're nodding to what used to be;
space, with a human touch.
